I've had an incredible journey thus far in this internship, and I'm glad I took a chance.
I can't believe the intern celebration was 5 months ago! And now, after 8 months, my Techincal Support Developer CO-OP has come to an end, as all good things do.
I still feel like that lucky intern that IBM took a chance on back at the beginning of the year. I've done so much and learned so much, yet I've barely scratched the surface. I'm going back to my last undergraduate classes next semester with a new sense of direction and purpose because of my experiences. There are so many possibilities at IBM and so many paths to take!
So I'm returning to do just that! After I graduate in May 2022, I'm starting a new role as an Associate Data Scientist at IBM Consulting! I'm excited to combine my passions for Data Science, client-facing work, and social change in this new capacity! Thank you to everyone I have had the pleasure of meeting and connecting with, from my TAPs Daniel Wasson and Molly Diemer to the Information Server Support team for teaching me so much, and my fellow intern Kate Clemens for navigating this CO-OP journey with me. Thank you to all the interns and other IBMers I've had the pleasure of meeting, and to Katie Bishop and the whole NA Intern program team for making that experience possible. You are all forever a part of my journey and my story and I hope to stay in touch with you all and work with you again at some point!
I'm also so grateful to my Girls Who Code mentor Jessica Casano-Antonellis for introducing me to Disney Streaming and to Evita Vittorini for inviting me to join General Motors. To even be looked at by such amazing companies is a dream, and I hope our paths cross again someday.
And of course, my support system at Cornell, and back home in NYC. I am where I am because of you. Thank you doesn't even begin to describe how I feel.
